East Cottingwith Outdoor Play Area
The East Cottingwith play area opened in 2012 and offers a lovely outdoor space for children to play together. It was created by fund raising and the hard work of a parish community group. The play area is now managed by the Parish Council.
Exciting News – New Play Park Equipment Is Coming To East Cottingwith!
Installation of new play park equipment will commence 6th January at East Cottingwith Play Area. This is possible due to grants from the National Lottery and East Riding’s Do It For East Yorkshire and also generous donations from our local community, including the FEast Committee and Charity Cafe – we thank you all for your support. Thanks to everyone who gave views to help shape the design and accessibility needs – the new equipment includes a roundabout, swings, nest swing, activity trail, slide and a much requested football goal area with basket ball hoop. The park will be closed for a short period from 5th January to enable PlayScheme of Elvington to install the equipment and will reopen in early February.
